9.1 Mechanical fasteners
Mechanical fasteners (ordinary or prestressed bolts, rivets) are products for which traceability is also necessary.
For tightening pretensioned bolts, different tightening methods are authorized by the standard, depending on a parameter called "class k", declared by the manufacturer and associated with the fastener's suitability-for-use test.
