1. Cross-disciplinary topics: changes to EN 1090-2: 2018

As indicated in the introduction, the 2018 version, applicable since March 1 ^er 2019, does not modify the general philosophy of the text, nor its fundamentals. However, the changes to the text are designed to incorporate feedback from the implementation of the first version of the text at European level, notably by streamlining certain provisions deemed too demanding in relation to the technical benefit granted.

First of all, for greater readability, a part "4", specifically dedicated to the execution of cold-formed elements and structures for roof, ceiling, vertical wall or floor applications, has been created to group together all the provisions concerning these applications.
