3. Welding

Welding operation requirements are largely governed by international standards (ISO standards). The principles transposed from these texts, which deal with quality management, welding coordination and personnel qualification, remain unchanged.

The changes to the text we are dealing with here only concern the "business" requirements, which complement those taken from the "ISO" corpus; they are mainly the result of the new definition of execution classes, and concern :

• procedures for qualifying operating procedures ;

• inspection procedures, both in terms of the level of quality expected and the volume of tests to be carried out.
