4. Operating modes, high-level control and command

High-level control is responsible for generating modulation indices (or duty cycles) that are sent to the low-level controller. Depending on whether the network to which the VSC converter is connected is strong or weak, there are two types of high-level control: islanded control and non-islanded control .
