2.1 More demanding services encourage the deployment of semantic networks

Operators' catalogs of connectivity services have expanded considerably in recent years. With the deployment of techniques claimed to be capable of meeting very demanding requirements in terms of latency or availability, for example, operators and other service providers are increasingly encouraged to provide strict guarantees, which are the subject of contractual commitments with their customers. Failure to meet these commitments can result in penalties.
