1. Applicable standards
Although software is a relatively recent product, it is not excluded from the scope of investigation of international standards bodies (ISO, CE, IEEE and AFNOR).
The ISO 9000 / 9001 quality management standards apply to all organizations, including those that design, manufacture and sell software.
But international bodies have also drawn up specific standards, adapted for software. Here is a summary of the main ones.
