11. ISO/IEC 25051 standard – February 2014
The standard has been published under the title Systems and software engineering – Systems and software quality requirements and evaluation (SQuaRE) –– Requirements for quality of ready-to-use software product (RUSP)– and instructions for testing. It is available in a French version NF.
A first edition of the document was published in 2006, and a patch no. 1 was issued in 2007. The most recent version dates back to October 2014.
This document applies to Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software. Open-source software is not considered to be COTS. The requirements listed below are detailed in the normative document.
