8. Main uses of chlorine
It is difficult to compile a complete inventory of the uses and applications of chlorine and its derivatives, given the large number of chlorinated products identified and, above all, the wide variety of applications in many sectors of the economy. Nevertheless, Figure 23 provides an overview of the distribution of chlorine uses in Europe.
