1. Technical reference documents

The main technical reference documents are the recommendations of the GTR technical guide published by SETRA/LCPC in July 2000, supplemented by details or references given in regional guides, mainly that of the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region, by Predis.

We also refer to Société Surschiste's "product" sheets (see [Doc. C 5 374]), an example of a supplier of this type of information.

The applicable standards, as well as bibliographical sources concerning fly ash, are also documented (cf. [Doc. C 5 374]).

The updated standards applicable in 2008 are taken into account in the presentations.

The article focuses on the use of fly ash in road and rail applications in France.
