At present, the breakdown of uses is as follows:

  • For metal ;

    • aluminum-based alloys: 43% ;

    • cast and forged products: 40% ;

    • iron and steel desulfurization: 13% ;

    • other: 4%.

  • For compounds (magnesium oxides and salts) ;

    • refractories (furnace briquetting): 57%,

    • other (agriculture, chemicals, etc.): 43%.
