3. Know the conditions of use

For each workstation or piece of equipment, and for each product used at that workstation, you will draw up an inventory of their conditions of use.

The conditions of use of products in degraded or accidental mode must also be identified during this stage: for example, when carrying bags of powdered products by hand, consider dropping/breaking the bag and spreading the product.

You must also take into account the work environment, which can have an impact on chemical risk, whether physical or health risks:

• electrical equipment, ATEX or non-ATEX ;

• confined space ;

• close to workstations where other chemicals are used;

• congestion.
