In the event of checks by the authorities or legal proceedings, you will need to provide proof that the MSDSs you have sent have been sent. Having proof means guaranteeing your rights!
4.1 What should I keep as proof of SDS dispatch?
If you manage paper MSDSs, you have the option of sending them by registered mail. Through your organization, your good faith and your willingness to provide SDS in compliance with legal obligations will be assets.
It should be noted, however, that the recipient may argue that he or she did not receive the document, but will have to prove this.
