6.1 Don't step out of your role as a listener!

This is one of the difficulties of this role: to remain objective, precise and factual, without passing judgment or offering solutions. Rely on the documents presented and the information given by the auditees, as well as on the requirements of the standards, to draw up your findings. To avoid this bias, banish the following terms from your vocabulary: "in my opinion", "this is not good", "in general", "it seems to me that"...
