7. Mistakes to avoid

7.1 Don't be content with using conventional media

A multitude of media and supports are available for recording knowledge. It's best to use the media best suited to the type of knowledge to be shared or transmitted, and to the recipients. Video, pictograms and illustrations are suitable for simple knowledge. Text and detailed explanations supplemented by diagrams remain the best means of transmitting more complex knowledge.
