If I find a good solution right from the start, why continue?
The advantage of this method is that it's systematic, so you don't stop at the first solution and miss out on a better or more optimized one.
Make a careful note of all the solutions you've come up with in the first phases of the process, and bring them out again in phase 5, evaluating them on an equal footing with the others - it may not be the best one...
Is it really necessary to have so many meetings?
It's not the number of meetings that's the problem, but their duration and the relevance of the participants' attendance.
Avoid prolonging discussions that only concern two or three people in a group of eight or ten, as the others are wasting their time...
