France Compétences

Created on 1 ^er January 2019, this new single national structure centralizes the financing and regulation of all vocational training and apprenticeship in France. Its governance is made up of the State, the regions, employee and employer trade unions, and qualified personalities. France Compétences distributes funds to OPCOs, regions, Pôle Emploi and CPF (Caisse des Dépôts). It has absorbed the former Cnefop, Copanef, FPSPP and CNCP, and issues RNCP and Répertoire spécifique certifications. France Compétences also has authority over COFRAC, which accredits certifying bodies. In the case of Qualiopi, COFRAC has authorized thirty-four certifiers (e.g. Afnor, Bureau Veritas, ICert, SGS...).
