What are the risks if an operator fails to submit an operating report?

If the operator fails to submit the operating report to the prefect, the latter may apply the administrative sanctions [FIC 0099] provided for in the regulations governing classified installations. The prefect must give the operator concerned formal notice to submit the report within a short timeframe (three months, for example), and then, if the operator has still not submitted the operating report, apply the administrative sanctions.
