SMES
Small and medium-sized enterprises are companies with fewer than 250 employees, annual sales of less than €50 million, or total assets not exceeding €43 million.
PMI
Small and medium-sized industries are companies that do not exceed certain thresholds set by a given country. In France, a company falls into the SMI category if it has between 10 and 250 employees and sales of less than €50 million.
SMIs are thus distinguished from SMEs by their industrial vocation. Like the latter, they are classified according to their number of employees, sales or balance sheet total.
TPE
Very small businesses are companies with fewer than 10 employees and sales or balance sheet totals of less than €2 million. They are also known as "micro-enterprises"....
