5.1 Efficiently manage your regulatory watch

The regulatory monitoring process needs to be updated regularly (monthly or quarterly depending on the case) to avoid being overwhelmed by the quantity of texts to be analyzed.

In addition, regulatory monitoring can be anticipated. Taken as a proactive approach to new projects and changes in activities, it has an impact on an organization's strategic choices (e.g.: evolution of an activity involving a change of ICPE regime).

It is advisable to formalize the regulatory watch process through a procedure defining who does what, when and how.
