2. Identify the contents of the Internal Operations Plan

The purpose of the Internal Operations Plan (POI) is to ensure effective management of a potential incident using the resources and equipment provided by the operator.

Its purpose is to define the organization and resources required to deal with an accident confined to the site. This document plans the organization, resources and intervention strategies by analyzing potential accidents.

This document must therefore be as concrete and operational as possible, in terms of content, presentation and ease of use in a crisis situation.

There are several guides to POI preparation (Ministry of the Environment, GESIP, SDIS), which have a similar architecture:
