2. Calculate and concatenate individual physical advances

As we saw in the previous paragraph, to implement the method, it is necessary to calculate three values:

  • earned value (EV) ;

  • planned value (PV) ;

  • actual costs (RC).

Let's move on quickly to the calculation of actual costs, which presents no particular difficulties: these are simply costs spent to date.

The calculation of the other two values, on the other hand, is based on two project management disciplines: :

  • deadline management ;

  • cost management.
