6. Use local labour

6.1 Recruitment

If you think you'll need to use local labor, there are a few things you'll want to be aware of before embarking on the adventure:

  • Know exactly what kind of manpower you'll need: it's more a question of defining the level of skill than the level of education you think is required for the task in hand. Indeed, in many cases, the simple translation of a diploma name does not correspond to its homonym in our country. If we take the case of an engineer, for example, we'll be able to associate it with a considerable level of autonomy in our country. This will not be the case in countries where this designation corresponds to that of a senior technician, or even a simple technician when the latter is a beginner.
