4. Working in the local language

  • Translation of safety-related specifications: it's always a good idea to remember that any supply of equipment or services in a given country implies compliance with local safety legislation, and that safety recommendations or data must be written in the local language. In this case, and depending on the country in which the project is to be finalized, various solutions can be envisaged: either use the services of an official, certified translator, or, in cases where no "certified" translator can be found, request the services of the embassy of the country concerned.

  • Translations for direct contacts: if some or all of your contacts speak a language with which you are unfamiliar, you will need to call on the services of official translators. Unfortunately, in many cases, the translators you use have been trained in literary translation,...
