3. Evaluate the impact of these parameters, particularly during industrialization
When it comes to calculating the impact of these parameters on capacity management, there are two possible scenarios, depending on the phase of innovation introduction and the production organization:
industrialization using dedicated resources (machines, or even workshops in certain particularly innovative groups);
industrialization on the means used for the day-to-day running or launch of the innovation.
It should be noted that in the case of complex manufacturing chains, including those involving several component and then finished product plants, some production stages may be dedicated to industrialization, while others will be shared with the current operation. The method should therefore be applied to each stage of the chain.
