3. Consolidate stakeholder requirements
Stakeholder involvement should be encouraged to ensure their productive participation.
Working with stakeholders to present the project, obtain their requirements, manage expectations, solve problems, negotiate and prioritize will help ensure that the right decisions are made.
The need for additional soft skills such as active listening, interpersonal skills and the ability to manage conflict through negotiation will make it easier to solve problems and make the best decisions.
It will be necessary to analyze the impact or support that the various stakeholders can bring to the project. Then select them in order of importance and influence, so that communication with these stakeholders can be handled effectively.
