 INTRODUCTION

Risk analysis is a cross-disciplinary field, involving a wide range of professions and skills. Risk managers, like project managers, cannot and must not be one-man orchestras, but rather conductors. Indeed, while they are often general or specialized engineers, risk managers cannot be experts in all the fields involved in creating and updating a risk analysis (mechanical, neutronics, legal, commercial, etc.).

This fact sheet analyzes the role of the various players in the risk analysis process, with a particular focus on the project manager and the risk manager.
