7.1 Do not use automation
Every conflict requires a specific response.
Once the cause of the conflict has been identified, steps to minimize the conflict’s impact on the project (mitigating actions) or to eliminate its causes (corrective actions) must involve the parties concerned. Handle personal conflicts with sensitivity (especially those that predate the project, ensuring they do not impact team dynamics and morale). Defuse technical conflicts by seeking compromises.
