4. Validate the solution with emulations

Once the final solution has been chosen, the detailed design phase will need to take account of the instrument's interactions with its environment (sterility requirements in the operating room, possible use of the instrument by an assistant or technician, etc.).

Products for expert users rarely follow the usual production and marketing procedure. On the contrary, they are customizable products, and their market penetration is conditioned by the requirement for total user satisfaction.

In order to improve product design as much as possible, we recommend that you :

  • prepare a real-life situation, called "emulation";

  • develop a user group, called a validation group.
