The success of a project depends on effective communication. Communication models will influence the effectiveness of communication, and help solve problems of disconnect between end-user expectations and reality. With multicultural project teams and dispersed stakeholders, models provide a way of looking at communication styles and methods to improve communication effectiveness. There are many communication models that demonstrate different aspects of communication. The following sections present a sample of communication models.
