2. Identify operational skills

The input for identifying the skills required is the project breakdown. The WBS (work breakdown structure) breaks the project down into work packages and identifies the elementary tasks to be carried out within the framework of the project and the deliverables associated with the contract.

The OBS (organization breakdown structure) will focus on structuring the organization.

Each task corresponds to :

  • a deadline for completion ;

  • a deliverable.

Each task is associated with one or more resources, with distinct types of responsibility. To do this, we use a tool known as the "RACI" matrix, which classifies the responsibility of each actor, by task or organizational entity, in several possible degrees.
