3. Defining objectives

The dashboard must meet the expectations of stakeholders, which may be different, for example :

• the project manager and his team ;

• steering committee ;

• finance department ;

• general management...

The choice of financial elements and indicators may vary depending on the target audience.

Depending on the situation, you may wish to build a single dashboard, or several different dashboards. In the latter case, the project dashboard groups together all the dashboards that had to be built to meet the expectations of the various customers. Be responsive, and ensure consistency between these different dashboards.
