The main unit has full responsibility for the project (finance, treasury, risk) and will be able to assume this responsibility.

Its project manager acts as a kind of project director for the subcontractor's project manager.

The roles and responsibilities of the project management teams must be clearly defined.

The principal unit undertakes to pay the subcontracting unit the lump sum agreed at the tender stage in consideration of completion of the work and in accordance with the terms of the payment schedule.

The consortium agreement will include all the necessary financial information defining the detailed cost of supplies in relation to the scope, the payment schedule, any revision formulas, etc.
