 INTRODUCTION

In a major project, the activities that take place on the customer's site, both for construction and commissioning, require strong local management, directly exposed to the customer and his local representatives and driving the company's advanced base.

This is the role of the site manager, the project director's right-hand man, who intervenes on the site from the very first activities, taking over from the site preparer who, upstream, secured the preparation of site activities before the site manager was appointed and the site opened.

The site preparer assists the site manager during the work.

The site manager represents the company on the customer site and before local authorities.
