5. Be able to explore complex situations

A complex situation or system is made up of many interconnected parameters. To take action, it's first important to use "system thinking". "System thinking is the ability to identify and apprehend a whole, both the structure of a system and its behavior and relationships with the environment" (cf. Introduction au Penser système ).

Visual thinking techniques can be used to represent a global view, to identify limits, causal loops... This exercise can be done alone at first, and then "martyred" by a team to multiply points of view.
