2. Acting before the crisis

Anticipating a crisis means setting up a crisis unit, drawing up a crisis management plan and assessing employees' ability to work together under pressure.

Prior to a crisis, you need to identify risks by auditing existing systems (if any). These risks can be classified by degree of seriousness and probability of occurrence, with the help of a risk map for example.

The list of tasks to be carried out must be formalized in the form of a scenario of tasks to be carried out internally (team, resources to be mobilized) and externally (stakeholders). The crisis unit will be activated by the designated people according to the level determined by the initial crisis diagnosis. Crisis communication will be initiated both internally (reminder of instructions) and externally (media selected according to pre-determined targets).
