3. During a crisis: assessing the situation
During the crisis, there is the response to be provided before the recovery and return to normal.
Of course, the crisis won't turn out as simulated. However, learning by doing will enable you to avoid making major mistakes, in an environment where you will have lost many of your bearings. Having identified your exposure to risk, you will already have been able to anticipate its impact, and have a clear vision of your interests and priorities. You will already have changed your outlook by defining specific crisis management processes. You'll have acquired a surveillance posture to detect threats and make your crisis management system dynamic. You'll be able to react, understand the crisis, contain it and limit its impact by focusing on your organization's vital functions.
