4. Selecting information systems

As innovation is an activity that produces, exploits and shares information, the question of "information system" (IS) tools quickly arises, even if it is vital not to treat the subject via a tool-based approach. In fact, it is essential to ensure that business activities are properly understood, in order to determine their precise information processing requirements and thus define demanding specifications for information systems. IS tools are key to capitalization.

The following principles will help you define your capitalization/innovation IS architecture with the distinction :
