Are systems engineering and project management equivalent concepts or approaches?
Absolutely not. Engineering deals with technical tasks, the creation/design of solutions. Project management is concerned with deadlines, costs, means and human and physical resources. It involves organizing tasks within a given timeframe, at a given cost and with finite resources.
