6. Results and communication

The final product is therefore the result of the search for a balance between the different ambitions supported by each department, which can sometimes clash. For example, is it possible to use recycled foam while at the same time increasing traceability requirements for hazardous chemical substances and improving comfort? Is it possible to offer innovative removable upholstery solutions while respecting a restrictive cost target and achieving the desired visual quality? The final product is the result of these discussions and the arbitrations that must necessarily be made by the project team. In developing the small B-Free cube, a single screwdriver makes it possible to quickly dismantle the product and recover unpolluted materials (no glue or overmolding) such as wood panels, foam, steel, plastic and textiles, which can be more easily recycled.
