6.1 Don't let your pitch go to waste

A presentation without follow-up is a lost opportunity. Don't confuse silence with interest. Don't send a generic e-mail. Don't assume that your contact will follow up. Don't minimize the impact of small objections: they're often decisive. Finally, don't apologize for following up: propose, rephrase and bounce back.
