ABSTRACT
The concept of innovation is directly related to that of the company. It consists in integrating state-of-the-art product knowledge in order to satisfy consumers' needs. This article is dedicated to the analysis of this issue, which has become a true challenge for companies. The key role of innovation in corporate dynamics is presented, notably via the various problems encountered or the capacity to innovate. The concept of innovation is then detailed, taking its deep nature and complexity into consideration. The forms, various levels and optimization of the innovation process are also dealt with.

INTRODUCTION
If we had to give a simple definition of innovation, it could be summed up as the integration of the best available knowledge into a creative product (or service) that enables us to go even further in satisfying individuals, while emphasizing that innovation is only truly achieved when it is integrated into reality, and thus accepted by society. This generic definition covers the essential components of the innovation process, a permanent challenge for the company, which is the key player.
