5.1 Make sure you have the necessary skills at your disposal before embarking on an LCA process

LCA is in fact an expert tool, meaning that it must be carried out by someone with the necessary skills to guarantee the quality of the data and the scientific validity of the results. It's a complex process whose conclusions can easily vary if the data inventory is slightly modified. If the required skills do not exist within your organization, you can turn to the many consulting firms or university laboratories capable of carrying out such studies.
