Reference management tools offer interesting possibilities for exploiting the reference collections you store on their local or online spaces. You can :

• sort and organize references by classifying them in folders or specific collections (thematic or other); create dynamic queries that automatically classify new entries corresponding to the query;

• enrich references with keywords and annotations ;

• work on the texts themselves by highlighting and annotating: web captures on Zotero, PDFs on Mendeley; searching the full text of the document ;

• detect and eliminate duplicates ;
