2. Define a target vision for the system to be implemented

Once we've taken stock of the situation and mapped out the players involved, we need to look ahead one to three years to collectively identify the desired or ideal target system.

The exercise involves the participation of representatives of general management or of two business divisions actively involved in the system, of the information documentation function, as well as of research, development and possibly marketing departments and services.

The aim is to identify the key activities and the ways in which they can be shared or mutualized, so as to be able to derive working and operating methods from them.
