Reading an RSS feed is quick and easy, and you can already see through the titles of the posts sent if you're interested. The main advantage of RSS feeds is that they automate data collection. This is known as the "push" technique. Messages are "pushed" into your RSS feed reader, but you consult them at your leisure. You choose the refresh frequency (day, week...).
