What's the difference between the "transfer function" and "transformation service" tools?

Some may find it difficult to understand the difference between "transfer function" and "transformation service". The difference is that :

  • The transfer function is related to control theory and continuous processes. There is a continuous input and output flow. This is the case with the computer keyboard, where ASCII codes are continuously produced.

  • The transformation service is to be compared with a state transition, i.e. a discrete, instantaneous, definitive transformation; it's the "wave of the magic wand". The dissociation of elements is irremediable and has no particular interest in being spread out over time.
