Expressing the user objective must give you visibility of the overall experience, to which you need to bring innovative elements. It's rare that you have to deal with an experience that has no interaction with other universes or sequences. You need to consider the overall experience into which you're about to bring innovation, to make sure of possible, or even mandatory, connections with these related sequences.
Once you've visualized this overall picture, don't hesitate to identify the conditions for success in related universes that could apply to your innovation axis. Even if they are not structuring factors for your line of research, they should be monitored throughout the innovation process.
