3. Integration of active tilting

The previous section described how, due to both the carbody tilting movements and the presence on board of complex command and control systems, integration of a tilting system into a railway vehicle requires particular care and attention. This process must take into account all relevant interfaces, i.e. track, loading gauge, catenary (for electric trains) and signalling and their main constraints and parameters.

3.1 General
