4. Conclusion

Two methods for dimensioning drilled plates and composite assemblies have just been presented: the "stress point" method, which takes into account the tension/compression of the ply tangent to the hole, and the equivalent force flow method. These two methods are widely used in industry, although each user has modified them to suit his or her particular case. The strong point of these approaches is their simplicity, compared with a complete damage model of the composite, which is still largely the domain of research, and their weak point remains the evaluation of the various coefficients (d0,KT,Km,β,σmadm)...
