3. Why define document management rules?

Employees must be involved in their documentation. That's why it's important to determine the life cycle of your documents, and to assign roles to each member of staff (depending on the department managing the document, the level of responsibility within the company, etc.).

As a result, staff can be involved in the life of a document system to varying degrees. Here are a few examples:

  • consultation ;

  • model design ;

  • writing ;

  • checking ;

  • validation ;

  • diffusion ;

  • archiving.
